IN MY LIFE:
I wouldn’t call myself a workaholic, but it is hard to find me separated from my laptop. But that’s not what I want to be known for. As I tell you every day not to wait to tell someone you love how you feel about them, I thought it was important for me to put action to my words.
I couldn’t tell you the last time my mom and I took a trip together just the two of us (other than when she took me to college). Now with my daughter in college and my son able to drive, I saw the opening to make that happen.
What started with a flight booked to visit her in Florida turned into the ultimate adult girls getaway: a Disney Cruise! Yes, the impeccable service and magical pixie dust we know and love is in full force even without kids in tow 🙂. Thanks to being within driving distance of the port and a last-minute cruise discount code, we were able to find the cruise I’ve always dreamed of sailing on…with TWO stops at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
I don’t know how much I’ll be posting while away, but I can’t wait to share the memories we make once we’re back. See ya real soon!
