You know, Disney’s classic, The Little Mermaid…
It feels weird for me to say ‘classic’ because that infers that I’m old 😉 I remember vividly when The Little Mermaid came out: I was in high school (which was just over 20 years ago and, according to my friends at H&M, qualifies as ‘vintage’ – yikes!).
During my teen years, pageant days and even into my early 20’s, my song of choice to perform for competitions was ‘Part of Your World’. In fact, I was even asked to show up to my choir director’s daughter’s birthday party AS Ariel!
And our family’s love for Ariel and friends didn’t die at the turn of the century. No way. In fact, I birthed a daughter who’s favorite princess is none other than the fiery red-head herself!
So why wouldn’t we be jumping for joy over the release of the Little Mermaid Diamond Edition DVD???
