IN MY LIFE:
I didn’t give you a Daily Dash on Friday and I feel like I’m slow in getting it together today. Maybe it’s because of the rain. Perhaps it’s because of everything else on my plate. But I just wanted to tell you there’s nothing wrong, I just haven’t felt like posting as much on social lately.
I know I don’t have to give you an explanation, but in a world where a lot of my job keeps me on social media, people start to wonder and worry when I don’t post as much. Some get offended (as in, “Why didn’t you like/comment on my picture???”) and some are genuinely concerned when I take a break.
But that’s just it: a break. I think because I’d started the #everydayphotoaday challenge, I started feeling the pressure to post something every day. When it didn’t feel genuine, I didn’t post. And so here I am, after making it only a few days through the challenge…but I want to stay true to myself.
That’s all! Stopping to say hi, but without any cute photos on social media to do so. How are you all doing?
