The other day we were in the restroom at a bookstore.

While I was waiting for Britton, I started sampling the hand lotion they had on display.

I must have audibly made some yummy noise, because B promptly asked from his stall, “What’s that, mommy?”

“Hand lotion,” I told him.

‘What’s that for?” He kept inquiring.

“To make your skin soft. Do you want some?”

He paused for a minute…”Why, is my skin hard???”

I love my literal little ones 🙂
