We went to the Tennessee Aquarium for the first time last month and were blown away!
Living in Nashville, Chattanooga is only two hours away, so it’s a great day-trip destination. One of my best friends lives in Atlanta, so it’s become a fun place for us to meet up with our families and experience great attractions like the Aquarium!
In my Staycation post, I promised a few more insider tips on the River Gorge Explorer, so here it is:
Even if you’re not an early bird, you might choose to get an extra hour of cruising for FREE. The Aquarium offers the three-hour, “Sunset Special” which is an hour longer excursion aboard the Explorer for the price of a two-hour cruise.
(Full details: Sunset Special Go on the 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30 or 6 PM Sunset Special and get an extra hour of FREE cruising. Beer, wine and snacks are available for purchase on the three-hour sunset cruises.)

This would be a great trip! About 5 years ago, I did conferences in Chattanooga but I’ve never heard of this excursion. I would love to be able to enjoy this!
