I’d love to be able to go on this cruise with my husband because we haven’t been away together since before we started having kids 4.5 years ago. Well, we did go this year to marriage conference an hour away and have one night alone together (and we were both sick!).
Anyway, 3 kids later it would be really good for us to be able to get away and spend time on us.

I’d love to win this for my husband and I. We’ve been married for 30 years and have never taken a honeymoon. Our original honeymoon was put on hold for a trip to the ER and then a hospital stay. (Let’s just say that the Flying Dutchman dance at our wedding reception was not a good idea!) Then along came kids and life and we just never took one. We’ve also never been on a cruise. Family Life means a lot to us and it would be thrilling to cruise with them.

My husband and I rode the school bus together. We had our first jobs together. We reupholstered a sofa together. We took a player piano apart, cleaned each string, refinished the wood and put it back together. We gutted and rehabbed our fixer-upper and made it a home together. Together we’ve shared 28 years and lots of adventures. One thing we haven’t done is gone on a cruise together.

My husband and I have 3 kids been married for 13 years. Sometimes we would like to get away but feel tied down right now because of the kids so we tend not to plan much for the both of us. This would be a great time away!
Steve and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in December! Over these 20 years we have created a beautiful family with four children (ages 7-15) whom we love so much! However, Steve and I have not been away alone on a trip since our children have been born. I didn’t even realize that until I stopped think recently that the only time I’ve been away from my kids has been to be in the hospital to have another baby!!! Lol One other time when I needed to go overnight because my mom had emergency surgery. Even so-that was not Steve and I. Wow….
So, whether we win this cruise or not. I think after 15 years of being parents and 20 years of marriage, we may be due for a little get away… just the two of us!
