There’s something really special about the Nashville Zoo.

Honestly, I don’t want to spend a lot of time telling you about the unique animals they have or how many square feet the savannah is. if you get nothing else out of this Nashville Zoo review, know this: the Nashville Zoo is a place where you’ll want to hang out with your family.

Sure they have a wide and wonderful selection of animals, but what strikes me most about the Nashville Zoo is its unique spaces. There is a lot of walking involved, but you truly get transported when you visit each individual section. Not to mention, they have an AMAZING playground with plenty of shady seating for those parents who aren’t brave enough to swing around with their kids!

Another thing I love about the Nashville Zoo is that they’re always partnering with other local organizations to create unique experiences. On our most recent trip, it was Nashville Preds day at the zoo. Not only could you meet the hockey players and cheerleaders, but there were a ton of great family-friendly games, giveaways and of course, bounce houses!

Take a look at all the fun we had:

Cutest zoo family ever!

I’m not one for animal pictures, but I snapped at the perfect time to catch this flamingo doing an arabesque!

Look at that dancing flamingo!

And who doesn’t love scenery like this?

I just love these faces

And it wouldn’t have been Preds day without a picture with their mascot (don’t mind that crazy climbing wall in the background 😉
