It’s been an interesting time getting into a new routine with two kids in school; I would have thought my schedule would have slowed down, but really it’s amped up!

We’re trying our darndest to keep a highly alkaline (lots of fresh veggies & fruits) and low acidity (meats, dairy, etc) diet, but that can be hard living in the South 😉 That being said, we’re trying to start every meal with some sort of produce (which also helps make sure the kids eat their veggies before they get their dinner!) and I even made a pure vegetable soup to start my lunch and dinner with.

So here’s what we’ll be eating this week:

Sunday Oatmeal with Cinnamon & Honey leftovers Portabello Mushroom Burgers with oven fries
