It’s hard to find a true value these days.
In a world of extreme couponing and freebie frenzy, many people would rather sacrifice quality for value. But what does value really mean? When you consider that what you can get for free doesn’t always stand the test of time, it makes you reconsider what is or is not a true value.
That being said, cheaper does not always mean ‘cheap’ when it comes to value. When it comes to high-end products, like electronics, people will often pay more because they think that means they’ll automatically get a better product. I think a true value is getting a good deal on something I really need, not spending money on something I don’t need.
I use coupons to purchase lots of household or basic dry food staples, but I splurge on organic meat, fruits and veggies; those I feel have true value and are worth spending a bit more on…

A true value is a tooth product that my five year old twin sons will actually enjoy. And they love spinning toothbrushes.
We have certain things that we always without fail buy organic or name brand. Some things you can get cheaper but the quality is so poor you dont even want it! Pick and choose over certain items…and save on the other things!!!
Chocolate is a true value to me. Doesn’t matter how much it costs, it almost always makes me feel better and that is priceless! 🙂
I default to eternal mode when thinking of true value. But from a tangible perspective, true value is paying the lowest price possible for the item that will have the greatest endurance.
True value to me is in bringing my loved ones together ,priceless.
True Value is a way to save money without having to sacrafice quality. We should all be good stewards of our money, as the Bible tells us.

A true value I have learned to appreciate this summer is state parks. We have been camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, and canoeing at state parks and overall, it’s is pretty inexpensive. It is nice to get out and enjoy nature while teaching the kids that fun doesn’t have to cost a lot. It’s a great lesson in conservation also–use what we have available and take care of it so we can continue to use it.
A True Value as I see it, is getting the best “bang” for my buck in so many words. A True Value might cost more upfront, but will last longer, or gives more product for the cost. I am not one to shop via unit pricing, BUT will if I see that the True Value of this particuliar item benifits me one way or the other.
A True Value, is trusted branding as well. I know that XYZ laundry detergent last me longer than ABC laundry Detergent. While XYZ might cost more but overall its the true value I am seeking.

Family time. I`m willing to spend money to go somewhere just to get my kids out of the house. No one can experience anything sitting at home using the internet. I love to find staycation deals, but I`ll spend more if that means leaving them with memories all while being educated.
kraft mac & cheese – it’s still my favorite and it’s only 67 cents – what better value on the planet is there?

I think the most valuable (and priceless) gift that parents can give a child is a happy marriage, in which the parents treat each other with respect and love. I firmly believe that when parents argue negatively (name calling, insults, and swearing) that it changes the fabric of a child’s personality and colors their perception of the world.
A true value to me is to bring a smile to someone else, from a small friendly gesture to strangers or sending parcels, greeting cards to my family all over the world.

I really think that there’s no price you can put on a good education. Even though I’ve been a stay at home mom for the past 8 years, I’m very glad that I was able to get my Bachelor’s Degree at 21 and my Master’s Degree at 26. I would love for my children to also learn the value of a good education.
