Let me tell you a little story.

I love gold.

There. I said it. Don’t think me a snob, but ever since I was little, I’ve loved gold jewelry. Not only does it look so elegant, but it’s really practical too!

As a tennis kid growing up admiring Chris Evert, I tried to emulate both her strokes and style…which included wearing jewelry while I played.

But gold isn’t easy to come across, especially when it comes to jewelry you actually want to be photographed in. And don’t even get me started on how this frugal girl could begin to afford gold…

So imagine my surprise when low and behold, I came across the “Steals & Deals” segment on the Today Show featuring the beautiful gold Alice Cuff by Robyn Rhodes.

I’d been looking for a big gold bracelet FOREVER, so when I saw this was 90% off, I couldn’t help myself! Well, imagine my dismay when the site crashed (DUH – the deal was announced on the Today Show) and I couldn’t order my bracelet! What does Sami Cone do?
