Plumb on new Seeds Family Worship Album: Seeds of Character

I’m so proud to announce that the fabulous team at Seeds Family Worship has released their newest album, “Seeds of Character“…volume 6 in their CD series. What’s even more exciting is that one of my favorite friends, Tiffany Lee (a.k.a. Plumb), co-wrote and sang one of the songs on the album!

The song, “The Wages & The Gift”, features verses Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. For those of you who haven’t heard of Seeds Family Worship, let me introduce you. Seeds was planted when worship leader, Jason Houser, was asked to write some songs to help kids remember the verses from their summer Bible school. They were so catchy, that it didn’t take long before the first Seeds Worship album was in bloom!

Obviously you know how much I believe in setting scripture to music since I’ve been creating my own scripture memorization songs for kids for awhile now. But you may also have noticed that’s slowed down some lately…due in large part to finding the Seeds albums! What’s particularly great about this music is that not only is it a fun and helpful tool for kids, but it’s really good music that adults will actually want to listen to as well!

Tiffany and her family joined us for our son’s T-ball game last night, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to get a sneak peak at her new song on volume 6, “The Wages & The Gift”. Check out what Tiff had to say…and hear her a capella version of the song (I promise you will not be able to stop singing it!):

Fun, right?! She really does have one of the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard. And just think, if she sounds that good in the grass at a baseball game, imagine how great the studio recording must sound! I know, we’re a bunch of goofballs.     Our sons love Jer 33:3 and Psalm 148:1-5 from the Courage and Praise albums. Love sharing the tear off CD with friends or those we are encouraging!

    We don’t yet own any Seeds CDs, but many of the albums are already on our wishlist. The Seeds of Courage CD is top of the list or was. This newest cd is great. Thanks so much for the giveaway.

    I have recently been introduced to Seeds Family Worship. It is my privileged to be a wife, mother of 3 children, and a Children’s Ministry Director at my church. I have been trying to guide my own children and the children at my church to develop Godly character: Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” I hope to get all the Seeds Music and use it to help us do just that! I can’t wait to use “The Fruit” song with them!

    We have 2 of the Seeds CD’s. Our family loves music and we love our Seeds CD’s. I don’t know that we have a favorite song, I think my favorite thing is just that the we sing scripture word for word regularly because of the CD’s :). I am excited about the new CD!!

    We literally listened the Seeds of Courage CD to death and my kids have been begging me for a replacement for months! We love the Seeds Worship series.

      Yes, she’s pretty amazing. My hubs and her hubs have been bffs for a long time. Not only is she super talented, but she really does use her gift to help kids.
      (btw, it took you this long to realize you and I were bffs??? 😉

    I love the “Seeds” albums, too. As a mom on the go, it is great to have songs that have a great message that my kids enjoy listening to as well.
    My favorite is Seeds of Courage, although every CD has many songs that I love.
    I encourage everyone to check out the website and talk with your church about have a song leader come out and lead a Seeds Family Worship Concert. TONS OF FUN!!!

    My favorite Seeds album is Seeds of Courage – so many of the songs have stuck with my kids (and me!) during scary times. My daughter requested that we read Psalm 34 while we were waiting to get her shots because of a seeds song from that chapter.

    I love SFW. I’m most familiar with the Seeds of Courage album, so I guess it’s my favorite for now. 🙂 I’ve actually sent links to the YouTube videos to people because I think they are very encouraging.
